About Me
Nick Marinakis, MS, RDN, LDN
Welcome,

I received a degree in Neuroscience from Bates College and Master of Science in Nutrition from Boston University.
I completed my Dietetic Internship at Lahey Hospital and Medical Center in Burlington and developed my behavioral approach to nutrition counseling at Boston University’s Sargent Choice Nutrition Center.
Additionally, I have counseling and other clinical experience in the field of mental health working with adolescents, adults, and families through my work at the Triumph Center, Children's Friend and Family Services, and Cooperative for Human Services.
My passion as a nutrition counselor is rooted in my own history of food-related challenges. I have dealt with lifelong food allergies as well as the nutritional struggles associated with fueling myself as a competitive athlete in high school and college. These experiences have helped shape my own understanding and compassion when helping clients with their own food challenges.

I’m no longer a competitive athlete, but I continue to remain active in recreational team sports. I also love to backcountry ski, backpack, mountain bike and trail run with my wife and our dog.
